On June 9, the Shelby County Clerks Association met at Timberline Golf Course for a quarterly meeting and election training that was sponsored by the City of Calera. The organization’s president, City Clerk of Chelsea Becky Landers, organized speakers from the Shelby County Board of Registrar’s office and from Election Systems & Software. There will be an absentee ballot training session presented by Mary Harris, Circuit Clerk of Shelby County on Wednesday, June 29, at Chelsea City Hall from 9 a.m. to noon for the association.
