Mama Sue, host of “Mama Sue’s Southern Kitchen,” will hold a book autograph and dessert party Sunday, April 12, from 2-4 p.m. at the Shelby County Arts Council in Columbiana.
The event will feature a variety of desserts, a talk by Mama Sue at 2:45 p.m. and a book signing. Her latest cookbook, “Sweet Tea and Second Helpings,” will be available for purchase.
Proceeds from the $35 tickets will benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates of Shelby County, with all funds staying local to support children in need.
CASA recruits and trains volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system and provides services including parenting classes and supervised visits.
