Old Baker Farm will celebrate the close of summer with its annual Summer Shindig on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 6-9 p.m.
The evening will feature food trucks, artisan vendors, music, watermelon, fresh-squeezed lemonade and acres of sunflowers. Admission includes five sunflowers for each guest.
This year's event will also celebrate America's 250th anniversary with an opening ceremony at 6:30 p.m., an Americana scavenger hunt and a "250 Foot" children's race. Veterans will be recognized during the opening ceremony and receive free admission with a valid ID.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at 9 p.m.
