Shop Shelby County has been started by the Shelby County Chamber.
The Shelby County Chamber will host two chances for small business owners to learn how to grow their business at the chamber’s offices at 1301 County Services Drive in Pelham on Aug. 8.
First, the chamber is offering one-on-one sessions with Michael Smith, the chamber’s entrepreneur-in-residence, who will be available to discuss any topic. There are four slots available, starting at 8:30 a.m. Appointments must be made by contacting Karen Williams at the chamber at 205-663-4542 or by e-mail at karen@shelbychamber.org
Second, Smith will facilitate a workshop featuring business owners from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Panelists for the workshop are:
- Angie Simonetti, Advanced Landscape Services
- Melissa Dixon, CDI Janitorial Services
- Nedra Moore, Creations Galore and Moore, LLC
- Samata Shah, Kopri Signs & Graphics, LLC
