The Shelby County Planning Commission on Monday is slated to hold a public hearing on a variance request for a Highway 32 property.
The main agenda item listed is a request filed by property owner Charles Collins, who asks the commission to reduce the required front and rear yard setbacks from 40 feet to 30 feet, a variance of 10 feet, to allow construction of a 2,000-square-foot single-family home. The property is located at 2370 Highway 32 in Columbiana.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, August 17, at the Shelby County Services Building's Community Room, 1123 County Services Drive, Pelham.
