Charlotte Brown is 9 years old and has a rare skin condition. Full Moon BBQ and Make-A-Wish partnered to give her a party and weeklong trip to Disney World.
Full Moon BBQ in Inverness was packed with people on July 29 to celebrate 9-year-old Charlotte Brown and her family, who are receiving a trip to Disney World from Make-a-Wish.
The Browns live in Irondale, and Charlotte suffers from epidermolysis bullosa, a condition that causes the skin to blister. There is no cure for the disease, and severe forms can be fatal.
Full Moon arranged a pony-themed party for Charlotte, who loves the TV show "My Little Pony." Her friends and family joined her for cake, gifts and pony rides, as well as surprising her with the Disney trip, which the family will take in November.
