Hilltop Montessori School hosted its annual “Hilltop Serves Day” on April 26. The school partnered with local charities to bring in donations, make inspirational cards and assemble items in need.
This year’s charities were Diapers for Hope, United Ability, Red Cross/Totes of Hope, The Exceptional Foundation, Pennies for Patients and Hatching Hope. Some of the students also worked in the area around the school, The Town of Mt Laurel, picking up trash, weeding and spreading pine straw.
As part of the day’s activities, all the students learned about the charities and then were given the option to choose the charity that most inspired them. The results were outstanding, as the school generated enough donations to fill 5 car trunks.
