Mary Elizabeth Madden, a freshman at Oak Mountain High School and daughter of Tim and Tammy Madden, was recently selected as Miss St. Clair Area’s Outstanding Teen and will proceed to compete for the title of Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen in March.
Mary Elizabeth competed in talent, personal interview, physical fitness, evening gown and on stage questions in order to clinch the local title for a place at the state pageant. The annual state event will be held at Thompson High School, March 1-3 and is part of the Miss America system.
She competes with 49 other girls from across the state of Alabama for a chance to win cash scholarship awards for college.
