The Shelby County Board of Education on Thursday is scheduled to have the first public hearing for the school board’s 2027 budget.
The hearing will be conducted during the board’s regular 5 p.m. meeting in the auditorium at the school system’s central office in Columbiana at 410 East College St.
The board also is set to consider change orders to construction contracts for roofing projects and an addition and renovation to the Shelby County Career Technical Education Center.
