Gabe Haynes scored all 12 of his points in the third quarter, as Oak Mountain knocked off Thompson, 51-34, on Friday night.
Payton Youngblood continued his strong campaign with 19 points and eight rebounds to pace Oak Mountain, along with Haynes.
Michael Freeman scored 12 for Thompson.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 14-6 overall and 2-0 in Class 7A, Area 5 play. They return to the floor Tuesday, at Hoover.
