The postseason honors are rolling in for Spain Park's boys basketball program, who advanced to the Final Four in the recently concluded season.
The Alabama Sportswriters Association announced its choices for the All-State teams, and Austin Wiley was a first team selection, with Jamal Johnson a second team nominee.
Along with the All-State honor, the ASWA has also named Wiley one of three finalists for the Class 7A Boys Player of the Year.
Wiley led the team, averaging 27.1 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game in 31 games this season. Johnson posted numbers of 18 points, seven rebounds, and 4.4 assists per contest as well.
The Jags fell to Central-Phenix in an overtime thriller in the State Semifinals to conclude its season.
