The Oak Mountain boys basketball team continued its strong run this season, as it knocked off Tuscaloosa County, 50-43, in a Class 7A, Area 5 contest.
Payton Youngblood led the way for the Eagles, almost securing a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.
Warren Shader added 13 points and knocked down a trifecta of three-pointers in the second half.
Louis Coleman scored 12 for Tuscaloosa County.
The Lady Eagles came up just short in a 42-41 loss.
Both teams continue area play on Tuesday night, as they host Thompson.
