Oak Mountain basketball took to the home court on Tuesday night and came away victorious.
Payton Youngblood poured in 19 points to lead the Eagles (16-7, 4-1 in Class 7A, Area 5). Will Stephenson scored 14 to aid in the victory as well.
Thompson was led by Matt Huls and his eight points.
The win sets up a battle on Friday night against Hoover that will decide Area 5. The game is set for 7:30 p.m., at Oak Mountain.
