The Shelby County Municipal Clerks Association held its quarterly meeting at the Chelsea Community Center on Feb. 22.
The group opened the floor for nominations for 2017 Officers, and the elected officers include Chelsea City Clerk Becky Landers as president, Helena City Clerk Amanda Traywick as vice president, Marsha Yates of Pelham as treasurer and Stacy Walkup of Harpersville as secretary.
The association provides a network of informed individuals available for the exchange of ideas, experience and problem solving among communities, said Walkup. It also provides continuing growth and professional development opportunities through local, regional and international programs.
