June 6 marks the final night this week for road closures on Alabama 119 between U.S. 31 in Pelham and U.S. 280.
According to an Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) advisory, lanes have been closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night this week to allow for paving operations.
“Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival and departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs and use extreme caution in this area,” the ALDOT advisory reads. “ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this construction operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.”
