Due to severe freezing temperatures as reported by the National Weather Service for the morning of Thursday, Jan. 8, Shelby County School will delay opening of the schools by two hours.
Buses will run on a two hour delay and breakfast will not be served in the schools. Employees will report two hours after their assigned reporting time.
