The Talbots at The Summit is closing at the end of the month.
The store, one of the original stores at The Summit, has a sign displayed at the front that says the store will be closing Oct. 26.
It directs people to the Talbots in Montgomery and to the store’s website.
The women’s clothing store has been a long-time fixture at the Summit, being one of the original stores at the shopping center’s opening in 1997.
