Several churches across the 280 corridor have planned to host trunk-or-treats or fall festivals around the end of October.
If you are looking for family fun this Halloween, try visiting an area church for a trunk-or-treat or fall festival.
Oct. 22
► Where: Cross Bridge Church of Christ, 3039 Brook Highland Parkway
► What: Cross Bridge Church of Christ will host a trunk-or-treat from 4-7 p.m. There will also be games, food, a cake walk and live music. Call 991-1978 for more information.
Oct. 25
► Where: Liberty Crossings UMC, 5125 Sicard Hollow Road
► What: Liberty Crossings United Methodist Church will host a trunk-or-treat and chili cook-off, which will start at 6 p.m. Call 951-7707 for more information.
Oct. 28
► Where: Morningstar UMC, 11072 Shelby 11
► What: Morningstar United Methodist Church will host Boo Palooza at the Tractor Supply Co. on U.S. 280. The event will take place from 4-7 p.m., and it will include a trunk-or-treat, games, face painting, bounce houses and more. Call 678-2572 for more information.
► Where: Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 5514 Double Oak Lane
► What: Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church will host its second annual fall festival, which will start at 4 p.m., directly after the 3 p.m. weekend mass. There will be food and games, a cake walk and three bands that will play live. There is a $10 entry fee for adults and a $5 entry fee for kids. ► Where: First Christian Church, 4954 Valleydale Road
► What: First Christian Church will host a trunk-or-treat from 3-5 p.m. The event will also include bounce houses and games. Call 991-5000 for more information.
► Where: Liberty Park Baptist Church, 12001 Liberty Parkway
► What: Liberty Park Baptist Church will host a fall festival from 3-5:30 p.m. The festival will feature inflatables, games and candy. Call 969-1236 for more information.
► Where: Double Oak Community Church, 115 Olmsted St.
► What: Double Oak Community Church will host a trunk-or-treat, which starts at 3 p.m. There will be bounce houses and each decorated trunk will have candy and games. Visit doubleoakcc.org for more information.
