On Sept. 25, eight Future Business Leaders of America officers from Oak Mountain High School participated in the 2012 Joint Leadership Development Conference in Birmingham. This conference is available to career and technical education advisors, students, JROTC and Jobs for Alabama Graduates (JAG) and is designed to provide leadership development.
Attendees completed skill-building and interactive workshops on topics such as career preparation, team building and personal development. The event is to prepare them for life-long achievement and top leadership opportunities. Sponsors are Julie Godfrey and Stephanie Triplett.
