Alabama's first Lush Cosmetics shop is set to open at The Summit this Friday, June 17.
Lush uses organic fruit, vegetables and essential oils to create its beauty products. The store's products are both vegetarian and cruelty free, and some products are also vegan. Shoppers can choose from fresh cleansing rolls, bars of solid shampoo, face masks displayed on ice, or bath bombs. A bath bomb is a bath product that adds color, scents and essential oils and also dissolves and fizzes upon being placed in the water.
The 1,558-square-foot storefront will be Lush’s 241st store in North America.
“The new store at The Summit Birmingham signifies another milestone for Lush,” said Lush Cosmetics Director of U.S. Real Estate Alyssa Gates. “We had numerous requests via our social media channels and call center to open a store in Alabama, and we are excited that we can now offer local Lush fans our unparalleled selection of fresh handmade cosmetics.”
