Cyber Security: Protecting Your Church, Home, and Family Conference

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office, along with the Shelby Baptist Association, is hosting free Cyber Security training for Houses of Worship on Saturday, August 25th from 8:30 till noon. Anyone willing to commute to the location, New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church 5521 Double Oak Lane, Birmingham, will hear from two fantastic speakers.
Mr. Reed Warner, a GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst and Incident Handler will present on how to secure and protect your church network. Mrs. Kristi Bush, LBSW, and National Education Consultant will present information on the dangers of social media.
Church staff and leadership, church security teams, and children's ministry personnel will greatly benefit from attending. Vendors, who provide IT services to churches, will also be on site to answer any specific questions or needs.
