March 13: Firehouse Subs donating to Chelsea Fire

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is awarding much needed equipment to Chelsea Fire and Rescue.
On Wednesday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m., the Foundation will donate a Polaris Ranger 6x6 Rescue All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) worth more than $12,600 to Chelsea Fire at the restaurant's location on U.S. 280. The vehicle will greatly increase the department’s rescue capabilities in response to natural disasters and off-road incidents
Attendees will include local firefighters, Firehouse Subs co-founder and board president for Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Robin Sorensen, franchisees Claudia and John Porter, Firehouse Subs area representative David Conklin and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation development manager Meghan Bender.
Through its foundation, Firehouse Subs has given $5.7 million to hometown heroes in 36 states and Puerto Rico, including more than $418,400 in Alabama.
