July 15-26: SCAC Summer Art Camp

Presented by the Shelby County Arts Council, this year's Summer Art Camp features a program titled Artists across America: Sea to Shining Sea.
Camps will be held July 15-26
This year campers will learn about American Aritsts Georgia O'Keefe, Andy Warhol, John James Audubon and Grandma Moses. They will even get an introduction to American Blues Music. The camp will explore art through painting, drawing, clay and mixed media.
Wednesday will be a special day as campers will meet at the 4H Center in Shelby County to study naturalist painter Audubon in a PleinAir Painting Class!
July 15-19 Ages 5-8 - Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m.-noon. Cost is $130
July 22-26 Ages 9-12. - Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost is $200
Registration fee of $25 per camper is required by the Shelby County Arts Council if a camper has not taken classes in the last year with the organization.
