Weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close at various times the northbound and southbound inside and outside lanes of State Route 119 from US 31 in Pelham to US 280 in Shelby County to perform asphalt paving operations.
The road will be closed Sunday, May 5 at 7 p.m. until Monday, May 6 at 6 a.m.
The same procedure will be followed nights through May 10.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
