Hoover Police Department arrested a 24-year-old woman on a charge of first-degree theft on Jan. 23 . The women is accused of trying to leave the Walmart on U.S. 280 with about 130 packages of razors and chewing gum.
The stolen items were worth more than $3,600. Hoover deputies were contacted by Walmart’s loss prevention officers after they stopped Vinnesha Lynnae Coleman from leaving the superstore. Her cart included 131 packages of razors and Nicorette chewing gum.
Officers arrested Coleman and took her to the Hoover City Jail. On Jan. 25, she was transferred to the Shelby County Jail, where her bond is set at $10,000.
