Mt Laurel Knightingales at the Samford University Wright Center
Haley Spates directs the Mt Laurel Knightingales at the Samford University Wright Center.
In December, Mt Laurel students took the stage at the Samford University Wright Center. Under the direction of Mt Laurel music teacher Haley Spates, students in kindergarten through fifth grade performed holiday songs from the movies.
The Mt Laurel Knightingales Show Choir performed a series of songs from the “Polar Express.” Several students in each grade had the opportunity to sing solos during their grade level performances.
The stage was lit with backdrops and lighting and snow even fell from the sky during a few of the songs. The event concluded with Spates singing “O Holy Night.”
