A powerful rushing attack propelled the Briarwood Christian Lions to their seventh straight win, with a 23-13 victory over Pinson Valley.
The Lions had an impressive 258 yards rushing, led by quarterback Walker Lott who gained 133 on the ground. Lott added 121 yards and a touchdown through the air.
The mighty Briarwood defense contained Pinson and its star running back, Nick Gibson. The Lions' defense has allowed a total of only 55 points during its entire seven game winning streak.
Next week, the Lions put their streak on the line as they begin their playoff march against Eufala.
